any good news out there?
i'm a little (ok, a LOT) tired & cranky today... the cumulative result of (at least) 3 sleepless nights in a row. and the world news is only making me more & more depressed. a quick scan of the headlines yields:
- pestilence. while a pandemic flu outbreak will keep me in work for a long, long time... i'm just not interested.
- murder. i just find this story incredibly sad.
- natural disaster.

I don't know about you, but it sure cheers me up to see that Don Johnson is returning to television. Unfortunately he's shedding his "cool guy" persona, so we won't be seeing more pastel suits and wicker shoes.

haha. i love the headline: "don johnson trades in his 'cool' persona to play the older-guy mentor". ummm... i believe he lost his 'cool' persona precisely one day after miami vice was cancelled. maybe less.
the day after i made this post, i found a link to happynews.com on metafilter. all the news that fun to print! finally!!
