the machine rages against me...

last night, with no warning other than a faint clicking noise, my not-so-faithful laptop died on me once again. for those of you not in the know, this makes the 4th time in one (1!!) year. sigh... i think i am used to it now. not only was i not upset, but i was not even surprised!!! word to the wise: when buying a laptop, do NOT buy a compaq. i beg you. and if you choose to and it explodes, losing all of your precious files... don't come crying to me. i mean it. i'll just say i told you so.

last night my friend ted (whose brother steve is the guitarist for the constantines) sent me a link to their video for 'nighttime anytime it's alright'. he claimed it is the worst video ever. disbelieving (since i am a huge cons fan) i checked it out this morning... it is definitely a lot artier than i expected... i leave it to you to sort out your own opinions.
