vocab 101

walking down princess st. today i noticed something that made me shake my head. there is a store at princess & university named 'computer haven'. it all goes horribly wrong when you notice the halo on the 'A' - obviously a reference to 'heaven'. just to recap:
haven: a refuge, shelter
heaven: the abode of god and his angels

is there a job out there where you can check people's signage & adverts for errors in logic before they become part of the public domain? if there isn't, there really really should be. either that or people should get smarter.

also, in my funk & wagnall's standard desk dictionary, heaven is also defined as "any place resembling heaven". didn't we all get screwed once on an exam by using the word we were supposed to be defining in the definition?! that's just sloppy, funk and/or wagnall... i believe the specific term for that is circular logic.
