shout out to robbie pee

some people (insert pointed look in rob's direction here) like it when i update my blog. so i hereby dedicate this posting to him. my week has been pretty chilled out. my raging insomnia is back with a vengence, and i've felt pretty blah all week. some highlights in spite of that:

• seeing constantines at lee's palace on saturday. i think that was the fifth time i've seen them, and always enjoy them. so high energy (even after playing an afternoon set!) and fun. they played about 6 new songs, which totally kicked my ass. i can't wait for the new album to come out next year. the ultimate highlight of the night was dallas wehrle's tight tight tight acid wash jean vest which has apparently replaced his mustache. can you even imagine how awesome the vest-mustache combo would be?!
• going to the one of a kind show and being totally overwhelmed by the sheer number of felt articles of clothing, driftwood lamps, and maple syprup products that were jammed under one (admittedly large) roof. i did buy a few x-mas presents... oh, and cute new bag for myself, of course.
• enjoying some delicious cheap mussels & seeing the incredibles with robin.
• looking forward to this weekend which will include: gentleman reg tonight, ted leo on sunday, and a fun houseguest for the weekend.
