amazing feats of restraint

there was a (sadly) not uncommon occurrence on the streetcar this morning: a man hacking and coughing, making no attempt to cover his mouth & therefore spreading his germs to the people (myself included) lucky enough to be in his general vicinity. now, i know that it's not appropriate to yell at people on the streetcar, hey black lung... cover your fucking mouth!! but when your job is preventing infectious diseases... i don't know, shouldn't i have special powers to tell people stuff like that??

i wish i did anyways. i like power.
