it's too early to call it...

... but treasure hunters might be my new reality tv guilty pleasure for this summer. but only if this guy stays on it!

the insanity that is this guys mullet doesn't translate well in this picture (i'm not sure why there's a glamour shots-type finish...), but it's spectacular enough that we've started calling all three guys "the mullets" based on this one occurrence. although... i think one other guy does have a rat tail... anyway, i digress.

aside from the mullet, his problem-solving skills are absolutely spectacular. no matter what the clue says, he'll start looking in garbage cans, under rocks, in piles of sticks... anywhere except where the clue tells them to go. he also claims to have prior treasure hunting experience because he manages to hunt down a paycheque on a regular basis. no joke.
