another nail in the coffin of cinema...

alien versus predator was the number one movie in the states this weekend. what the hell?! just when you think it can't get any worse... it does. when will i stop being surprised?

in other news, i started my new job today. the day started off a little rocky when i woke up at 6:30 and sat up to see a gorgeous sunrise... the badness was when i realized that soon it'll be dark when i get up. wait... is it awful that i couldn't just appreciate it for what it was? ps. here's a not so terrific picture of the view from my balcony.
