girl's trip: 2006 edition

as is our (practically) annual tradition, i headed down south with nicky just before christmas. our destination this time: el salvador! overall, we were both really happy with our choice. not only was it super cheap (less than $600), the weather was perfect, the beach was lovely, and the people were very warm & welcoming.

and, in a nice change of pace from last year, there was really only one lovesick lurker that we noticed on this trip, and (oh joy) he only had eyes for me. imagine if you will, a hispanic forest whitaker giving you the death stare while softly singing spanish love songs to you. seriously.
